and cheers Ben, I have tried to keep it fuctional but still looking good, I cant afford insurance for the 20vTurbo yet (although i do have one maybe 2 lined up) so im trying to do the best I can with what ive got. and ill be honest, its working! Not quite a wolf in sheeps clothing….but its still fater than it looks.  :wink:

Yeah but John.......where did your inspiration come from? for sure your mk1 is very well done and very clean and has a simple yet purposefull look and stance, but you didnt just happen to make it look like that by accident did ya :wink:

Should there be an upper age limit , compulsory, where by you have to stop driving your 20VT 200 bhp MK1 monster that was built when you were old enough to drink legally   :boohoo: And grow up .

No.. but without the old there is no new, and so the cycle goes on……we have all been there…i remember staring in awe at mick clements Lhasa Gti at inters crowthorne….and thinking….."i gotta get one of those" and i did :wink: put some serious time and effort into that car…so much so its still around 16 years later after several more owners!! and it still looks the same! credit to my cash :wink:  effort and enthusiasm i think :D
