Had a mk2, just didnt modify it as ive got no money being a student. Only a few things like lowering, de wiper etc.
I crushed that into a ka.
There were enough plans though, from vr, mk3 dash to making my own arches.
And now im waiting for a mk1 golf 1.1 1.3 so i can stick a fully rapid engine in it.
Want a vr, too heavy so thought about the g60 and 2l 20 v but im not sure which will be fastest for the money ill be paying.
Also forgetting widend steelies, smoothed doors/tailgate, might chop mk3 dash down stick it in, rusty bonnet (Also a nice painted one for when i want)
So basically, the oldies are beating me in skill, im owning them in ideas.
And a hyabusa go kart would be nice but i dont have any funds.

ok huys recently theres been alot of what i call youngsters on here thinking us oldies dont know where its atso lets see all the cars and see wheres its at shall we
Cars still in the undecided stage mode at mo, I love the old skool look, but at 30, I must be getting old..
I'm planning on bring a subtle bit of the hot rod/air cooled scene to mine, but its not decided yet, as long as i like it thne i'll be happy, even if it loosk sh*te to everyone else
Persoanlly i dont think age matters when it comes to cars, its just us 'oldies' dont get ripped off on insurance

the one bonus of being old is that you can build a 14 second 1/4 mile car and know your not going to die anytime soon
i like my golf to look retro on the outside yes screaming abuse in the bay
