Sorry I could not make the meet today… I was already to go with the Mk1, and I washed my Mk3 only to find the rear window drop right down.        I had to strip the door completely and I found the electric mechanism that the window connects shattered into several pieces… I have only just finished…

Again I am sorry… I was just saying what a good car it was then it spat its dummy out… I will definitely be there for next month.

Has anyone from the area thought about a convoy to the GTI Spring festival on the 13th April?

  I went but never saw any MK1's,hung around for a bit !!
  
  Unfortunately there could have been people there but not knowing anyone and not having any MK1's as a dead giveaway I left

min and phills mk1's were in the pub carpark and we were sat out front off the pub what were you in we stayed till about half 4

i live in ambrosden and i never see any mk1's around bicester

     I turned up abot 14.20 ish never saw any MK1's so grabed a paper from Tescos and sat in the car park till about 14.50 looking well dodgy LOL

      I saw some people sat out front of the pub 2 men and 2 women I think! Anyway never really checked out the car park of the pub properly as thought I could pretty much see it all,must have missed the 2 MK1's then. Im sorry I cannot admit to the vehicle i was driving that day lets just say it wasn't a VW ops:  as just finishing putting the engine back together!  But If there is going to be an April meet I'll turn up again hopefully in my Golf this time

where was the meet as im too lazy to trawl through the pages hahah

Mack_cab are you sure your at the right pub, its by a little shopping presink (sp) in a housing estate. not the pub by tesco,

could you have not have thought of any nicer pubs rather than the nightingale lol. theres some nice ones out towards thame etc.
