Brentacre may be cheaper, as they deal with VAG cars only i think. Seemed a nice bunch when i phoned up

I just sorted my insurance out yesterday with HIC (Highway).

Granted my car is only 83 1.5 GX but Im only 21, I dont have any no claims (due to it been a new policy) and I do have an Insurance claim on there from 2005. They quoted me ?484 fully comp with a named driver on. Also 6k limited milage…

Mines through HIC for the GTI, thats 30 , 3 points, parked on driveway, 7.5k miles, fully comp, no no claims bonus, extras for alloys, lowered, lights etc etc, came in at ?280, cabby insured witha  company called MCE, there classic policy (its an 89) same as above but unlimited miles, that was ?300…

im starting to see im they are trying to screw me here,

right i think im going to re call some of these places and try to get the price down methinks.

i'm 22 with 9 points to declare and mine is 700! i wouldn't go with elephant they tried to bump my insurance up after gaining no claims bonus and getting points off my licence! said it was because alot of people claimed i was like yeah but i didn't and i'd been with them for 4 years! robbing gets!
