Yeah a busy night all in all although not enough Mk1s about. There was a bloke in a slammed red GTI blasting about on black wheels at one stage I wouldn't of minded a word with but I couldn't grab him.
think he was too busy avoiding the dips in the road as well, mate, nice n low… Looked sweet

Anyway it was great to see you Lawsy and your very lovely wife, :notworthy: made hanging about with you much more pleasureable. Well done for making the journey and for bringing the lights too, I owe you one in fact I wish I'd paid you more for them as they're in perfect nick. I'll have to buy you another drink or two.
Tian
I know, I'm lucky to have her mate…
dont worry about lights, they are mint, but i got em off ebay and didnt pay a lot more. But I'll hold ya to another drink or 2 next time…

yeah mine was the one with the centre exit pipes. Hope you didnt look too closely at it, its looking a bit worse than normal due to neglect this winter!
Yeah, sorry mate, should have come n said hello, i'd never been up befor and was walking round in my owners club hoody hoping people'd say hi to me..
Yours was looking sweet tho, think it may have swayed teh missus into letting me get rid of my 'newer' caddy and getting mk1 one as well…

well after chattin to a few guys on the caddy forum, doggy ones in need of a lot of work go from anything from ?700 ?2000. Tidy examples go for anything upwards of ?2000. I'd want at least ?3500 -4000 for mine tbh as its been fully restored proffesionally and very tidy!
Jees, didnt relaise they were fetching that much could have got a solid one last year for ?500, standard hto
Yours did look tidy tho, how low you got it
