Death wish woman in a Micra

Had an unusual experience this morning on the way back from the gym.

Driving along the High Street and I see a woman heading towards me indicating to turn right across my path.

Nothing unusual in that you say. But instead of waiting for me to pass or making a sharp turn before I get to her, she decided to pull into my lane so she was facing me directly and stop at the junction, still indicating right.

Yep, she was right in front of me facing me dead straight on in my lane facing the wrong way and not budging.

I had to think, do I stop? Have I got timer to stop? or do I hit the high beam and swing around her hoping she doesn't decide to pull off and slam into me?

Luckily I was in the Volvo so felt as though I had a good chance against her and decided on getting out of her way by swinging round her with the horn at full blast, I was the first of many as the following traffic also had a surprise!

What's wrong with some people?

Got taken out at a set of lights by one of our friends from a Muslim country on my bike…Not a sports one I might add a cruiser in fact.
He came accross me at a set of light whilst he was sat in the box junction and drove around a cyclist in a cycle lane???
He was in the wrong all day and I had 2 people stop to be witness's

called the police asked them for help as he had no ID or anything to say who he was and was busy telling my wife"no police, no police and please don't go through ins" I was told by the police that because I was ok they would not attend…..Strange as every RTA in Germany the police must attend to apportion blame…..
Don't blame the police as they have btter things to do however. Worked out by the time I did the excess and maths with parts etc it was easier to fix it myself and not bother. I still don't knowto this day who the driver was as he was on the phone when he started to write his address etc down and was probably getting the real owners details…

I see the car from time to time and will get my revenge one day….

oh and I nearly had a head on when I picked up a new bike from the UK and nearly pulled out in front of a van at the first junction I came to….I was living in Germany at the time….I still have to think at junctions sometimes as I spent 10 years driving over there and 3 here….Drove out of my Golf Club on the wrong side of the road not knowingly the other day

thing is, if you has hit her straight on, it would have been her fault and the insurance would have paid out. of you swung around and hit on comming traffic, it would have been your fault!

I  lived next to door to a bird with a micra at uni, terrible driver. She managed to crash into a building.

Oh and last week at work tootling down the road at 30 mph, Micra approaches from a T junction the left. Waits, waits, pulls out about 10 feet in front of me, goes a further 10 feet, slams on and turns right with no warning.
I really don't know how some people get a licence. :banghead:

A lot of people claim they weren't born in the UK, and are driving on a foreign licence. Sometimes it pans out they were born in the UK and so cannot use this loophole….

Some people just dont care.

I bet she just moved over from pakistan

They dont do driving on their test you know ohh no heaven forbid, aslong as they can make chappatis with their bare feet whilst picking mangos from a tree they can have their driving licence.

That licence also lasts about 6months in the UK before they have to get a Full UK one.

(The driving test above cannot be supported by fact, some of the events may be make belief…)

A mate of mine has lived in America and France for the past 5 years. I was in his car the other day, and we were chatting, and he decided to go around a roundabout the UK way, while a car was coming around the other way.

He doesn't know why he did it, since he's used to driving on the other side of the road, but it goes to show that sometimes your brain remembers old habits
(like the indicators and wipers being in reverse in Aus, which I remembered and got used to immediately when I went home a few weeks ago, and now I keep wiping my screen here in France when I want to indicate gah!).

Time to get up and hit some powder :O)))

Just yesterday I was driving my Beemer down the A2 and saw this Asain guy in a micra, back seat stacked with chinese cash and carry  food stuffs, swerving all over the place in front me, so when it was safe I passed it rapidly thinking I wanted to get as far away from it as possible to eleminate driver error on his part, eventually I joined the A20 about 10mins later, sitting at the lights on the A20 then suddenly, BANG!! looked in my rear view and this same idiot he decided to brake too late and slam into the back of me!!!! to say I was angry would be an under statement!!!! :banghead:

I got out and said to him "what the hell was he doing?" but his reply was "no spikk inglish"

took photo's on my phone of him and the car because he did'nt even know his address!

luckily due to the fact the beemer is built like a tank, his crappy Micra was much worse off, so I also decided that to go through insurance would be too much hassle, so I've T' cutted the scrathes off and straighten the bumper, and if you dont look too close you cant tell!!

Why are these ABSOLUTE MUPPETS allowed on our roads??????  :banghead:

  Further to Arrons post…….hes not too far out actually!!! a driving test in India consists of driving forwards 90 yards, turn left, turn right, and stopping 8O .

this all takes place in about 10 minutes and then you get a licence!!! it does not involve making chappatis with your feet but it would be kin funny if it did

The rule on international licence holders is that it is valid for 1 year on our shores, you must apply for a provisional in that time and take a test to get British driving standard licence!!! (not saying much from some of the people i see)

Unfortunately a lot of people "ca spe Ingrish" especially when they crash into you!!! thats why they have donkeys mules and wooden carts in a lot of these countrys!!!
