having said that, you wouldnt've thought that OZ superturismo would suit but i like them :dontknow:

But the generic style of wolfrace wheels leads them to suit jap stuff more than proper cars 8)

Not everything wearing a wolfrace sticker is to be avoided ( only most things )     , i bought these off a guy on here ages ago, and if i ever get round to finishing them, i reckon they will look smart on a mk1.

Wolfrace, still not convinced I'm afraid.

Round ones

Im with Tian on this one, i think a lot of the styles of the cheaper end of the market are a bit samey, rounded spokes, blades, multi fit etc etc

I dont think they fit in with the era of the cars, the wheels look good on other stuff, not my cuppa but each to their own

I once saw a stunning mk1 escort mexico in Bright Green……….and someone had seen fit to put 15` tsw blades on it 8O  why would you do that? the original rostile 4 spokes or revolutions look superb.

I think deep dish anything in 15 inch looks good on a mk1 golf or it has to be the more solid designs like turbos etc

70`s and 80`s styling needs carefull wheel selection or the car just looks wrong imo

A bit like Porsches, they only look good with original porsche or BBS split rims on them

white compomotive mo 5 spoke 7x15,they look awsome,saw a similar looking one to mine all caged up and prepped for a doggin!!!!

has to be original series 1 ronal turbo`s or oz turbo`s for me  

Also love wide steelies    Look awesome on mk1's!

With you on that one, I have a MK1 Mexico in Le Mans green with Revolutions with polished rims and the centres colour co-ordinated 8)  8)

these 15'' wheels came on the car when i got it ( my project car 16 months still not on the road !! ) it has uprated brakes on the front so standard wheels do not fit, but i kinda like the look of the wheels, and they look even better since i took the stupid mk2 big bumpers off, so will end up keeping them on
