Depends what brakes you're running, bigger brakes means bigger wheels. For me, 9 spokes are the best looking but its just my preference. With bigger brakes….not sure yet. I have a set of 5 spoke 16" waiting for the VR6.

well my all time favourites are BBS RS or RM`s, i like all the other classic rims too though, dont like any of the modern toot they turn out

Ronal turbo's.

They do look absolutely mint and are very retro too.

i like the steels that are on some golfs… and i think they were on the 'raddo or scirocco? almost teledial stlye :dontknow: but they're nice

These I bought from motorworld for ?275 complete with tyres, cheap and cheerful i think they look quite effective and I had spare cash to spend on other bits to make it go as fast as it looks.

OZ Super Turismos do it for me !!

they look like old school rostiles off an escort

banded steelies either G60's or standards with crome centres. and some mad stretched rubber on the back for the fun of it.

Super T's look good on rally/ track cars, and are awesome wheels.
Ive got bbs rms, with a 2" lip and they look mint, but Tians pic of those ronal turbos has made me think… and its exactly the same colour as mine  8)

Personally i liek the ronal Turbo's for the right style of car, but i think multispokes like the OZ or BBs style suit the MK1 better, this is mine, but they're just cheap alloys till i can afford better ones..
