sorry but we weren't as hard as the other 3 floppy top owners, went home with the top well and truly nailed shut.

What is it with the floppy tops….January and the hoods down  8O , glad to see you've had a good turn out today, get some photos up. Our Dannyd from Chester/Wrexham meet had his hood down all day today, we managed 6 mk1's and a lovely Scirrocco Storm photos…….

Good photos, certainly looks like a good turnout and love the photo taken on the motorway.  How far did you go in the convoy and where did you end up? not that I know much of the area, just curious

And this photo has got to be a contender for the 2009 calender
 :lmao:  :lmao:

we didn't really go very far, just one junction from the services, then back up the other way one junction.

Great turnout lads! Nice to see so many Mk1s out and on the roads in January. We (Chester & Wrexham) certainly turned a few heads today, I bet you did too, especially the yellow one!

Looks a nice little gathering. It's a bit of a trek but I may pop along to the next one if I'm free. When is it ?

It looks like it was a really good meet, and the yellow one looks sweet.

I recognise that scrapman, I used to work up at a petrol station in York and he used to come in all the time, he's an Irish 'traveller' off James Street.

He's well funny but proper sound. :D

I'll try make it to the next meet, we should be on the road from this weekend.  8)
