I suppose I qualify to come along to this seen as I live in Ilkley…. Got my 1st Mk1 at the weekend too!  :mrgreen:

Unfortunatly cant make this one but Im sure there will be more meets in the future which I might come along too.

Hi I would be up for it too but got to put a new engine in next week as i come from mirfield but living in north yorkshire at the mo but is only an hour drive. keep me posted on next meet cheers

yeah, i used to have a '78 bay window panel van on an S plate.

yeah, good meet. nice to put some faces to user names.
i'd prefer a longer cruise, but i don't like leading in case i get lost. (not my neck of the woods). maybe i'll print some maps?!?
any suggestions of where is nice to cruise by would be welcome.

Hi it was nice to meet you lot today, will definitely try and make the next meet! sorry but we weren't as hard as the other 3 floppy top owners, went home with the top well and truly nailed shut.
