someones tried nicking my car....

o don't get me wrong , it is fully immobilized and alarmed , some funky ?490 system forgot the name , called lazerline i think..

just more deterants are always better then just relying on an alarm and imobilizer

how easy are imobilizers to overcome?

or does impossible come to mind?

A decent thatcham immobiliser is pretty difficult to bypass, they cut off in minimum of 2 places, ignition and fuel side normally, unless you work in that industry it is pretty difficult to do, and even then different fitters have there own little places they like to put stuff, that said most of it is just under the dash loom, but when i look under mine im totally confused! so your average car thief has no hope

I've got proximity sensors on my alarm/immob so as soon as they get near for more than a few seconds it goes off!
