I need mine looked at as it seems to be running a bit high. A local mechanic sorts it from time to time but it would be good to take it to someone who is into them.

Yes thats me.  

No longer need the carpets.  OH took the the interior apart over Easter. Seats, carpets the lot. It was a very scary sight and I feared it would never be complete again but he spent about 8 hours restoring them to their former glory.

The car runs well normally but seems to idle a bit high at traffic lights etc.

Your getting into the MK1 in big ay now!
