Had a quote of insurance for my car: ?710.  Ridiculous, I thought.

Moved to Uni, had another quote with this as my address, in Cardiff City Centre, but in a secured car park - CCTV, barrier.

?1450.

WHAT!  That's over double!!  600 more than I paid last year!

hahaha! those insurance quotes are mental! driving a bus dunt help insurance. they see it as you're on the road more often than most people so youre statisticly more likely 2 crash and thats what it all comes down to.

when i get a mk1 sorted im looking at ?300-400

Endsleigh - the student insurance people - have got it down to ?845 ish.  Still a lot, considering my 2 years NCB (turns out I got a BOGOF deal on NCB from LivVic!) but then I have moved into the city.  ?30 more than last year, though..

The trouble with Halifax is that it's linked to the M62 which is the rat run for TWOC'ers

endsleigh told me i wasn't eligible for breakdown cover as my car is too old  

I've got RAC - my parents have it, and put me down for the family package.  Yay!

Think my quotes are low because of where i live. Scarboroughs practically a retirement community! your more likely to get run ova by a mobility scooter! and as for car crime….. the smack heads are all to busy stealing off each other on their council estate to bother the rest of us!

na! its the back of beyond! nothing here and its a good hour to get anywhere!  at least if your car gets nicked up here it takes the little sods ages to get away.
