two car resto! gti with one peice of green glass pics added

started today this is what i done after work been dreading taking the bbs kit off but hardly any rust just the rear arches

nice one thought that was my gti lol even got same damage on door

got another door and bootlid but needed to check under the kit being sprayed in 3 weeks

nice one another being done carnt wait to get mine done but im not doing mine as carnt weld but my mates dad can you spraying yourself?

no i cant spray but doing all the prep work and masking it up in the booth
and the finishing to do it on a budget. drove down to the new forrest to pick up my bootlid on sat got to weeks to prep it now

nice one love to do mine like that if i had time n skill to do it

2 weeks to fully prep have you ever done this befor? i would also recomend spending as much time preping the car as you can because as thay say the more prep you do the better as this results in how the top coat comes out

nio i am only doing the door and the boot and welding and  sorting the small couple of holes and a proffesnal to do the rest even though i am assisting

sloe progress been collecting parts mostly door,boot and bodykit going to paint shop this week

unfortunately while hoarding parts i bought this so spent my respray money

 looks very clean, was that car on Flea bay? im always doing stuff like that!! i saved enough money for some decent coilovers…..and then something else needed buying! oh well, will get them next month now, just save a packet on this years insurance for my cab too, ?186 fully comp agreed 3k value 8O  from AON insurance,

Doesnt she need some welding done underneath on the rear beam hanger mate as Steve said she failed the MOT on this??
