Where did you manage to buy a rear panel from Foxy?

first thing was the the tow bar ( God knows why it was on a 1.1 but its coming off!!) And so it did,
After some grinding it came off with a little persuasion but left its mark,
Started on the rear panel and again chopped away,
Finished of getting the inner arch out,
And again, left me a present
And before the night was out, took some of the sill out,
As i was having a knee op i couldnt work on the car until after Xmas so a mate from work kindly let me borrow his garage to store the car. With the help from Andy and his Dukes of Hazzard Transit, it was away for the winter.
He's a top guy and definately would recommend him if you live in the local area of Manchester.
Well, i will keep you posted on the work i do over the winter but i'm off to recover and start a restoration course in Burnley in January.

Its a 1.3 with 107k miles, has a slight oil leak but runs, lowered suspension, performance exhaust, strut brace and one or two other things. It needs a full respray, head lining, MOT, tax and other little bits and bats but a solid shell.
The guy previous to the last owner did the following:
new suspension wishbones and new brushes all round
front and rear anti roll bars
front strut brace
uprated springs and shocks
16v discs carriers and calipers
16v servo and master cylinder
1980's Mim 1700
new steering rack and bushes
Brembo discs
De-rusted, restored and resprayed in Nimbus Gray
Gti Arches
Supersport bonnet lifters
uprated headlightloom
Ashley Motorsport exhaust
Good basis to work from, did some work but will bring you upto date later on in the week.
