can you get into the race course? sounds good to me though.

the austin 7 rally use the race course every year for there weekend meet would have to give them a ring whats the worst, they can only say no

derek if you are going to the meet i will bring the bentley manual with me for you to have a look at

i would make a big effort if it was perth area, as i'm 40 miles north of inverness, and inverness is a big trip   i'll keep an eye on this ,it would be worth the trip

HAVE WE CAME TO A PLACE TO MEET I TAKE IT TO BE THE RACE COURSE IN PERTH ALL I NEED IS TIME AND DATE I SEE ALZA FROM GREENOCK MK 1 ON THE BAY I'M SUPRISED SUCH A NICE EXAMPLE AND SO MUCH WORK PUT INTO IT

Not sure if I can make it yet… :cry:

I've got a golf competition, on the morning of the 1st Sept, so probably won't be finished that until around 2pm - which is probably too late to participate.

If my game doesn't improve over the next week or so, I may scratch from the comp & come to the meet instead  :wink:

It would be good to catch up with you all after the 1st gathering :tlc:

I dont want to state a place that nobody can get to or where is biast towards one group of members!

The more ideas the better. I dont think the race course would let is in to be honest though.

after speaking to geo last night, the best idea is always the siimplest….

ive been to a lot of meets for different car club and this is the general arrangement used by all.

this way we can sit down in a warm area and have some food (if you want) and have a nice chat and a nice night.

Is there an agreed place, time, date etc for the 2nd meet?

Due to other commitments, I'm happy with a meet later on, i.e. early evening, at the location Paul proposed (or anywhere central) on the 1st September.

ok since no one else is taking control….

The meet will take place on saturday the 1st of September at Brewers Fayre in Perth.  We could meet around 2-3pm in the car park then move into the brewers fayre for some drinks, food n a 'jolly' good time (if you want to, i know ill be eating).  

If everyone is agreed on this then I will post up a few maps like I did the last time.
