BHP figures for your golfs.

My 20 VT conversion is running 215BHP at 5250rpm = 130MPH

Had it rolling road tested today to improve Exhaust Emissions ! [look for my failed MOT post ] .  

Could have taken it to a higher state of tune but ran out of time at the rolling road session and nearly out of money

Chudd, you would be giving some of the Impreza's a run for their money with that beast.
A great day had by all yesterday at Dyno Demon. No MK1's unfortunately. Will have mine running on Monday, I'll be happy with 110bhp. Dont forget everyone welcome on Monday ?35 all in. Any car.
Best run on Sat was Audi RS6… 493 bhp!!! 17 cars run.
Dont let me down MK1 owners see you there on Monday?

It will be the black GTI, the other 2 working cars I aint bothered with the power output! They're stock, so they should be ok as-is. The silver GTI is still in hundreds of bits.

I'm afraid its a no-show from me, last night my car blew its ignition ECU, so it won't run. I can run it with the old (8V) ECU but it has no mechanical or vacuum advance, it was just to prove it was the ECU at fault and so I can move it around if needs be…

You missed out on a great day. My GTI ran at 124.0 bhp, well impressed.

It's had a fully rebuilt engine before I bought it. Kent cam and verier pulley, otherwise standard.
