mk1 jetta, shall i jog on?

are there any mk1 jetta's on here, afterall its a golf with a boot, fair enough its not quite the same but ive had 2 mk1 golfs and next in line is a jetta..

will get some pics when i get it if i havnt been kicked out lol.

Cool, ive a mk 1 jetta its a black gls 1.6, its now got a 5 speed box and next on the cards is some better brakes, will also try n get some picks up on here.

Does yours have a gti engine? Or am I thinking of the GLSi??

Unfortunatly not, wish it had, infact thinking about it she might just be a gl   havent seen her for ages !!!!!!

Its a 4dr    with full gti spec conversion, brakes, susp, the lot.

Its a nice motor, drives great!

Well picked it up last nite, made the 120 mile trip in the pouring rain just fine, im loving it…

Quick little motor with the cam in it and drives very nice, havnt had chance to wash it yet as its been raining allll day but will get some decent pics when i can..

like i say mate, just picked the car up last nite, the seats were already done…

I know there not just slid down the back like some ive seen but never looked as how they were done yet.

The interior is from a mk1 golf gx.

V nice car mate - saw one today, wondered if it was US import/modified due to headlights.  Are all Mk1s like that?

underside is very good, sills great and bootfloor etc all spot on

Yeh pretty much as mine is drochesaunders, just with orange indicators as apparently the clears are near enough ?100 a pair…ouch!

Nice jetta. i do like the gx interior. Was just wondering, are those german style plates ok on the roads or do you get hassled ( was thinking of getting some myself and saving the originals!)

I got pulled at 1am on Christmas morning.  I had German style, with the D down the side, but yellow on the back rather than white.

I think they were just looking out for drinkers, so it was a good excuse.  I was on my way home from Church, as it happens!

I've seen them without the D, I imagine this produces less hassle.

If you want some, send me a PM - ?25 each or ?40 for a pair, with any hyphens or whatever that you want to split up the letters.  White/white, white/yellow, or yellow/yellow.  Takes two weeks.  ?3 postage.
