They are 195/50/15`s, they are what came with the wheels, and aint got the cash at mo to change.

Am going to be changing to 195/45 i think, but i am in 2 minds as to weather go with a bit of stretch on them

It looks as though it's another myth verus actual legality story. I think that properly banded wheels should be ok, as long as their made by a recognised manufacturer / licensed fabricator.

Don't forget that welding is an extremely strong form of fabrication. Welding is used on extremely high pressure vessels that see stresses and forces well in excess of those seen on car wheels!!

The moral of the story is that make sure whoever is making them is competant in not only the manufacture but also the design.

Krisb, sorry to put you on the spot but what sort of NDT do you do to the wheels once they're fabricated / finished??

I'm seriously looking at a set once the p-slots go for refurb this winter.
