Did someone mention Mk1 Cortina`sholeinmk1 said
I like a lot of older, not necessarily performance british cars. i would love an old jowett javelin or a wolseley 6/80 especially a police spec. one with the bell on the front! also land rovers hold a place near to my heart, there's a couple of old series 2 from the early 60's near me and they look so cool, not much use unless you live the yorkshire dales, wales etc. There's a mk1 cortina near me for sale to, which always catches my eye, seems a bit overpriced for what is though. but what i really want is vw 1600 type 3 fastback, now they are a cool looking car.
Here`s a Lotus Cortina we are restoring at the moment to full Race spec!

Prefer mabelt25's… that was standard… this one is modified afar too much for my liking (an opinion only…)

In the pictures is the road going version, which has a boot and different arches.
Does 1/4 mile in 14.9, which is exactly the same as my dads 4.2 fixed head E Type coupe!!

I restored the Cortina 13 years ago and the Land rover is something I don't have to worry about - it bounces off trees!
