I like a lot of older, not necessarily performance british cars. i would love an old jowett javelin or a wolseley 6/80 especially a police spec. one with the bell on the front! also land rovers hold a place near to my heart, there's a couple of old series 2 from the early 60's near me and they look so cool, not much use unless you live the yorkshire dales, wales etc. There's a mk1 cortina near me for sale to, which always catches my eye, seems a bit overpriced for what is though. but what i really want is vw 1600 type 3 fastback, now they are a cool looking car.

1991 Diamond silver 1800 16v Corrado 'Betty'

Gone, but not forgotten;

1985 Lemon yellow Polo coupe S

1983 Gambia red Golf C

1983 Diamond silver Golf GX

1981 Mars red Golf GTI

I like cars from my youth (70's & 80's), those which have a a bit of character and don't look like they've come out of a jelly mould, like most modern stuff. For a few years now I've subscribed to The Golf or Golf+ mag but recently packed in to switch my subscription to Retro Cars but sadly that's ceased production  :cry:

May have to go back to reading about Ibizas and Skoda's in Golf+  :(
