Why is it so hard to sell a MK1 Campaign?

You could try a totally honest story style advert on ebay..

Been working on this car for the last year, list everything you have done, tell them your a VW spanner and all thats left is the respray. Get a new quote to finish the paint and tell them exactly how much it will cost.

Give them the options to pick paint colour etc.

I've just noticed that the July edition of Practical Classics has revised the prices of the Mk 1 Golf GTI.

I know a lot of Campaign owner are abit 'anal' about their cars, but i think the pirelli ps and green tint glass makes a big difference.  I especially love the helios blue colour.  This seems to be going for a lot considering the condition…

Does seem a bit much with 3 days to go. Ad says it had ?4000 bodywork job 6 years ago, but looking at the rot around the filler neck area and rear/side (plus seller also mentions door bottom) may have been stuffed with plod and blown over 8O

Yeah, i know Helios Campaign's fetch more, but this is going to be over priced.  I'd love another Helios Campaign, but not at that price Best bargins are in the winter
