Bolo, you keep harping on about these emails you received from "shaun" and you expect us to comment on the threats which you say you received, but how can we when we as the 'normal' members have not seen the emails you received.
If the emails, as you say, threatened you and your family and your property with violence then you must report it to the police for your own welfare.
With regards to your original post about the grills, you received some advice from various people that seemed to say that both grills could be possible (personally I wouldn't know) BUT you got the advice that you asked for.

To the moderators
 I am sure you have read the emails from 'shaun' this being the case if this person is a long standing member of the forum has he been approached for his side of this matter if he is a short term member can I ask did he join just before the 'scam' and 'use' the forum to justify his sale, how many posts has he placed on the forum and other such information.

In summary then I feel that Bolo had an unfortunate experience and whilst he feels that the club has let him down I feel that as 'general' members we have not seen the emails and as such whilst we may feel he is whinging we are not in a position to judge until we are in possession of ALL the facts and a reresponse to the questions I have asked of both Bolo and the moderators would be appreciated to enable people to judge things better.

Like others this is the first I've heard of all this.

My experience has been 100% opposite to that of Bolo's. Since joining here a little over a year ago, we've made some superb friends and had fantastic help and advice from other members.

We regularly meet as a region and far from shunning members driving anything other than a MK1, we welcome them. One member comes along in her fiesta as her Golf's garaged, another in his Scirocco, my hubby sometimes brings his caddy, and technohippy and friends have turned up in Beetles. After all, this club is for people who are interested in the MK1 Golf, whether they own one or not.

We use ebay a lot. We have had a couple of occasions where we have bought parts after seeking advice on here, only to have the item turn up faulty or unsuitable. No way would we be blaming people on here.

If you've had a bad experience, then that's a shame, but please don't judge everyone on here as 'cliquey' or 'unsupportive'. It's just simply not true.

l`ve just been visiting the club site, and seen bolo`s remark`s regarding my bad ebay experience post………

Will you all please note…..NO ONE…directed me to this club……l was browsing the web forelonely….searching for a few mk1 buddies…enthusiasts…nutters….heid the ba`s……with whom l could share my enthusiasm, and maybe help out others in the process…..

Please Gammy I'm begging you to give us all relief from our suicidal tendencies due to the depression of worrying about someone leaving our beloved community because they feel so isolated and alienated from the rest of us.

Please everyone extend the love :tlc: to Bolo just because we are the top ranked page on :google: for mk1s and from my brief journey into all the other forums we are the most active posting wise that I have seen and I feel the one with the most active membership not only in meets but in assistance as well doesn't mean that he is wrong.
