Me clutch has gone and died on me, so it's in on Friday for a clutch change and service, so fingers crossed I'll have it back for Sunday!!  :pray:

Don't look like me TDI is going to be there on Sunday as I can't tax it because my log book hasn't come back yet Because I have changed engine cc they don't no what tax bracket it will be in.I guess it is my stupid fault and should have sent it off earlier.
So at the mo I have my Diesel with Mot and insurance but no tax and my Gti with Mot,tax but no insurance   .The good news is father is away in Bristol and he said that I am welcome to use his car.[Mk2 Gti] It has got the right badge on the front for this meet anyway.

Yea it was nice to put names to faces,I did think you might have had a crack at the hungerymans cab,As you know I did and now I don't need any tea or supper!.If all is well we will have a get together again soon and I will hopfully bring my own car along.
Nice to see afew other models there i.e the corrado gang for starters but I would like to see more Mk1,s because that is really what we are all about.

Sorry mate….. George wasn't ready in time and Tafy is still in Bude until this week….of which I am so excited he is coming back this week so he will be back on the road for the weekend..albeit a weekend to late but he is beautiful, just got some minor bodywork to do on him and we are there…bit of welding around his windscreen that I have a nice price for and he is back to being a great example of the MK 1.

I will post some pics when returns this week…..
