Polishing

For paint work that feels as soft as a baby's bum use flannelette nappies.  On a serious note, I can't see a problem with that, its the same stuff isn't it?   :dontknow:

 :dontknow:

…it seems to work alright anyway…

(I also have a lot of cow poo around where I drive - very annoying stuff, but hearing them moo during the day makes up for it)

That certainly does make up for it.  We can't forget the sheep either.

Might try the nappies then, better value for money too maybe?

Maybe?? I was just stuck in a little French village without any shops and randomly found a nappy that had been used as a duster when I felt the need to wash my car - and it worked alright so I kept it.

The sheep are too far down the road for me, but the cows have bells and they're quite pretty.

Waxy car:

Thank you.  Every VW show I go cabby hunting.  Lol.  I pretty much look for VWs where ever I am.

Photos are all loaded up.

Nice car with a hood that looks like it's in good nick too. Your bumpers are better than mine (bloody bumper-parking-loving French!) - our cars are from the same year.

Can I ask how much yours set you back? The interior looks like it's in good condition too.

The French bump anything they park by.  I cringe every time someone goes anywhere near my car.  Lol.

I got my car for a good price, I had to take into consideration that the roof does need replacing, its cracked in 3 places where it folds above the doors, hurrah for black insulation tape.  The interior is mint.  Apparently there should be a catch in the glove box to keep it open, that has broken.  At least it closes ok.  I've seen replacement ones on ebay for ?5.

as often as you like each wash if you feel up to it, it should last a good few washes though.
