Favourite Interior Mod?

So whats every ones fav interior mod?And whats the worst you've seen? :dontknow:

I'm a big a fan of my Haynes classic car mk1 golf tax-disc holder.  8)  Any other mods are just tasteless.

I hate chequer plate floor mats, actually chequer plate anything.

I love the Richbrook tax disk holders in silver, but thats about it for me on a standard car.

Worst, anything too bolt on/ripspeed looking

8) favourite is My original 3 spoke old skool BBS steering wheel 8)

and i hate anything made of alloy and stick on toot including anything made by Richbrook!! ghastly stuff 8O

wolfsberg detailing is pretty cool, as long as its not everything you look at. recaro's, race buckets are ok to.

it's a wining combo

My fav mod at the moment is my stereo it has:-
a 1.5 din size in dash DVD player with 3.5 inch LCD widscreen display
a 7 inch TFT monitor (mounted on glovebox lid with screws, sorry everyone)
then in what was my boot and parcel shelf area there is:-
a 2*80 watts bridged (160 watts) amp that powers one 12 inch and 2 10 inch sub speakers
and a 2*125 watts amp powering 2*9 inch, 2*6X9 inch and 2*6 inch speakers
all in a custom MDF unit I made with sound portals on the parcel shelf. Oh and it has a set of 8 LED multicolour lights in the baseboard around the amps.

I know this may not be to everyones taste but I like it (I'll try to get a video and pics for you)

What do I hate disrespect for others taste. We are all different and I can appreciate everything that ppl do as long as they love it but just cos I may not agree with their school of thought I will not disrespect their efforts

No, best for me are:

1. Driver's elbow rest
2. Fiat Punto door pockets
3. Centre fresh air vent
4. Warm air option to fresh air vents
5. Electric Windies
6. Uprated dash lights
7. Intermittent rear wiper
8. Black Carpet in the under dash trays
9. CD auto changer
10.Bit more under carpet sound insulation
11.Mk 2 extended seat back release levers to catch the seat belts!

…make the car almost comfortable!..but still fun, and fairly original looking!

Funny you should mention the dash lights, on my red one I managed to find some higher wattage bulbs that fitted in the original holders, you can actually see how fast you're going at night :shock:
I've just had the silver one apart and put LEDs in, but haven't driven it in the dark yet to be able to tell you what it's like, nice big chunky Momo steering wheel is the best mod inside that one

Mine is standard inside at the moment apart from an old school steering wheel and a boost gauge…. they are quiet fun

Juz - you should lightly sand the glass on each of the led dash bulbs to make the light spread out more and give you a much brighter dash!
