got the chrome handels off ebay mate around 4 months ago original vw ones. Ill pm you about the parts i still need frank or ill give you a list and you give me a price lol.
And as for the spring clamps frank i only payed ?15 for them and thair always handy to have.

this is how my golfs been sitting lately only diffrence is shes sitting on all 4 wheels now lol

long time since ive updated this as usual works getting in the way of my project so havent realy done much to the golf. around a week and half ago i popped round to pick some parts up from dubstar74 which included 2 front wings both seat belt clips a few inner wing grommits and a boot mat.
The wings are half way through being preped removed most of the rust (top rust) and marked out where certain parts of the wings will need a skim of filler once thats all done ill get the compressor out and give them a few coats of red oxide.
As soon as i get time ill take a few pictures

Yeah after you've done the prepping on the wings it'll feel like your getting it in shape?

yes it will i cant wait to get the wings on

wings are finally on still need a few coats of oxide though. Front panel has now been coated in oxide only problem is i think i might have to replace the lower section as its in a pretty bad state in my eyes other then that not much has happened due to the poor weather TYPICAL BRITISH SUMMER.
Will take some pictures as soon as ive sorted my busted camera out

I have juts under 5 weeks to find a local bodyshop or a good welder off the site to replace rear arches part of the wheel well and lower rear valance anyone fancy doing this?

As you can see the lower front panal is pretty much fooked.

I reckon you`d be better off putting in a complete new front panel as welding in a lower section on the old one will create loads of distortion so its best to replace it all Mark.

so thats another part needed on my list of things to do
