funny enough it's fine.roof was fitted by vw i have the receipt for it 200gbp

it was made by dudmeister but i think they don't exist anymore.

bucket seats now in



new smoked cross Hair lights fitted



polished trimsport battery cover on



Alpine headunit and componenets fitted



also got some chrome door pulls to fit

realy liking this mate keep the pictures coming

looking really good! i like it alot.

but shouldn't this now be moved to the modifications section as the restoring has been done and modificating begun?!?  :wink:

havn't updated this thread for a while so here goes.

It's not forsale anymore and i'm now in the process of doing what i said i would in the 1st place which was to run a G60 corrado engine

This is the doner engine which i pulled out of my scirocco.


and this is sat on the floor after an hours work


was very dirty so i made a start on stripping it and giving it a clean.



and here is the charger it's a stage 2 at the mo but will have it ported to stage 4 at some point.
it was very dirty so cleaned it up a bit.


Anyhow cleaned it all up and painted the block and stuff.
starting to take shape now



painted the charger bracket and pulleys ready to go back on.




started to rebuild it,charger bracket and some pipes back on.



pulleys and lower belt cover back on.



charger painted back up and ready to go back on once the engine is in.


so got a few things done.

Looking good, will sit well in the MK1 :wink:

Just read the whole thread.  Nice work, you've got a great looking motor there.  Should go like stink with that pretty new motor and charger in.  Keep it up!!

 

Big update,mk1 had to get it at some point so the engine is nearly out.

10 am this morning bay looked like thsi

10.45 looked like this shafts downpipe arb all off


so by 11 it's all ready to come out,i will be doing a big write up on how to fit a G60 into a mk1 for all you guys should you ever want to use it

Todays progress dropped the engine out.




Moved the fuelines across to the drivers side.


And then dropped the G60 engine back in.also changed all the linkage bushs while the engine was out.



few of the intercooler sat in place it's a tight fit in there

Am loving the silver car with red grill and old skool numper plates

Am never into silver cars and usually hate them but yours goes together awesome an I love it 8)
