Project dylan, sold.......

i decided today that im not going to fit the one to the driver side, i only really need one, and the intake for the air filter is going to sit right behind the passenger vent, if i fitted one to the drivers side as well it wouldnt have a purpose so im not going to bother makes it look a bit different with only one anyway!!

enough ENOUGH!! just show me the paint!!! i dieing to see the colour of this beast!

good idea with the rangey vent never seen that before, looks diffrent mate but not out of place!
so come on then! stop teasing us and get a pic of the paint up.

Hey guys !!
had a nice quiet afternoon in work today and managed to get the 20v out from under the bonnet of the mk4, i sold the steering rack from the golf the other day so i had to take the subframe off, so the engine was just hanging there!! it was 2 tempting not to take it out!! heres some pics of it on the engine stand today once i got it in the workshop


and thats it really!! guna get some more done this weekend.

Ive just had some good news!!
my other half has just had her compensation through for her accident last year and she said she is guna treat me to a qpeng downpipe and a 4 branch stainless steel manifold for my 20v!!! what a great day!!! she also said she would pay for the spray job too. she cant wait to see this project finished. i also received my intercooler and pipework yesterday i will post some pics of them up later too.

just to add to your happiness eddie :wink:  said your ecu is ready so it should be with you this week if not early next

i spoke to eddie the other day and he said it was ready and he was goin to post it to me by the end of this week so hopfully should get it soon

i bought it from a shop on ebay called 2fast2cool and there really tidy blokes fair play, what do you think ben?
i have a question for you ben, have you fitted your qpeng downpipe yet? if you have what was the fit like? does it clear the steering uj ok?

no you use the blue silicone joiners and hose clips to join them.
