have you got an rough date of when it will be complete???  with how much work you've put intop preping it, it will look stunning wen its finnished

it need to be finished by about may next year (i hope!!) but hte bodywork is coming along nicely now, ive still got to mock fit the power hood kit and remove it again!!!! but it should look good once its done. ive always said to my fiancce that before we settle down properly that i would build a feature car and this is going to be it!! no expense spared!!!!! and shes happy with that. im thinking of putting some vents in the wings behind the wheelarches tell me what you think??

some vents will be cool mate, its not mine but i'd use some small subtle vents because the skirts are a nice differant touch (very very cool too) the espace vents (like on the door mirrors) could look ace blened in, just my opinion tho mate, cant wait to see the paint!!

it should  :pray: be in paint by the end of next month i hope :pray: but yopu know how things go, everything else takes priority !!!!!!

ye im bidding on a set of range rover sport side vents, there going behind the wheel arch just infront of the door, i was going to buy some sprinter weld in vents but everyone does it so i wana be different!!! if the range rover ones dont look right when i get them then i will start looking again! the shells coming in the workshop tomorrow night so there will be some more progress to show you guys!!!!

not yet still bidding on them they finish tomorrow, no more pics yet but i can tell you that the other door handle is welded up and the mirror too but other than that no news!!! soon,be patient !!!!!!

Looking good m8. I've been following the progress of you car & I could only dream about doing things like that to mine.
I'll just sit & convince myself that I'm better staying standard. Better get the finger out cause I don't think I can wait until next year to see it finished & it's not even mine!

well the bodywork should be finished within 2 months and then the shell is going for paint, and then its just a case of removing bits from the donor car and sandblasting and painting them! thats whats going to take the time! so far so good i think.
I got my wing vents yesterday too and guess what?? THERE TO BIG!!!   they dont fit between the door and the wheelarch. so i have changed my mind, im putting one on the passenger wing in front of the wheelarch so that the 20VT transplant can get some proper cold air for the intake. ive seen an inline air filter with a pipe on each end which connect straight to the turbo and then sucks cold air from outside the car. thats too far ahead in the project to think about at the mo but will keep you informed!!

shame bout the vents not fitting dude but at least they can still be of use, cant wait to see some paint,  go on pm me a colour sample i cant bare to wait any longer an i promise i wont tell any 1 lol

im not telling you what colour its going to be!!!! its top secret!! im going to graft the wing vent in tomorrow cus ive got a nice and quiet day in work.  Heres a pic of the vents though

they look small in the pics but beleve me there HUGE!!!

ive had the panel stand for years!!!! we used to do bodywork in my workshop but we have stoped now. you can get them on ebay for about 20 quid i think.

update!!
ive just bought my 20vt engine!!!! going to pick it up next weekend
CANT WAIT! AGU engine code, complete rolled car for 800 well earned english pounds!! the only thing misssing is the interior and the alloy wheels but the rest is there. will update soon!
