just a quick update before i go to bed!!
the corsa C column and ecu is nice and snug in its new home, the pedal box has had extra bracing added to it all ive got left to do is cut the top of the inner shaft to fit and set the length of the lower UJ to fit to the rack. i will post some pics up when i have got time, many thanks to coombehouse from the caddy forum for the info

I made my own mount that fits onto the corsa 3 bolt fitting and bolted it throught the firewall to stop the whole colunm twisting, and suprisingly its solid!!!!
The only thing left to do to get it finished is to cut and shut the top of the inner shaft and weld up the lower UJ as soon as i get my rack mounts.
i also picked up my wings from JPJ yesterday, thanks again mate for the bargain!!! guna get them fitted up tomorrow night.

Hi all
Right ive just got home from the workshop and one side of the body kit is on and finished. I started it last night and got it finished today, the other side is on but not filled in, both front wheel arches have had the inner lip cut off and cut right back so there will be NO wheel rub at all :dance:  the kit consists of clipper wheel arches, cirtoen saxo ops: side skirts cut and modified to fit, and RS2 bumpers and hopfully  :pray: mk4 aniversary (18 inch) wheels!!!

The clipper wheel arches have been filled and smoothed into the wings and the rear wheel arches which gives the car a wider look but without being over the top, guna get the other side done this week some time but tell me what you think, any feedback is good.

well the donor cabby that all the bits are from (my daily driver!!) has got a 16v kr lump in it but im thinking about putting a turbo 16v kr into it instead, keep the same engine but convert it to turbo, the kit has come out better than i thought it would actually i just had visions of it lookin like my daily driver, but little differences make a huge difference to the overall apperance, like the wheel arches have all been smoothed into the body (make's it look wider) the skirts have been blended into the arches (gives a more subtle look but still looks awsome!!) not like its just been put there (as an after thought)

im hoping to get the bodywork done by the end of next month, mainly because its going for paint at the end of july!!!! but the way its going it should be done by the end of the week!!!!

all the bodykit should be finished tomorrow (hopfully :dance: ) its only taken 2 days to get it all done!! (big thanks to my mate james) The bottom half of the car should be in primer by tomorrow night hopefully just got a few bits to do behind the rear bumper and then thats it. I have decided to smooth off the door handles and fuel filler so im going to get that done tomorrow (while james is finishing the bodykit!!)  so there will be more pics tomorrow for ya!!

progress was slow today!! james (my bodywork man) had a tad too much to drink last night, so all I managed to get done was weld up the door handle holes and the mirror holes and while i had the welder out i finished my lower column joint too.


he needs me to get the other door done this week cus he thinks he will be all done next weekend!! (i hope so!!)

Looking good - and it's very refreshing to see someone doing something different from the norm 8)

just a little update today! i received all my paint yesterday, go the silver basecoat and the TOP SECRET top coat!!!!!, all ive got left to get is the clear laquer now but theres no rush for that.
the bodywork hasnt changed at all, ive been really busy in work the past couple of weeks so havent even had time to touch the golf, let alone take the tarpauline off!! should get a couple of nights in this week to get some progress done!!
the only thing i did manage to do this week is buy my first caddy pickup which ive got to pick up tomorrow.(next project!!)

blended arches an saxo skirts look well good dude (even thou i didnt think they would) keep up the progress mate n a cant wait 2 c the end result, what colour???

colour is going to be a secret till its done!! i didnt think it would look good either but the finished side looks great!!
