Its a fair way off but hopefully worth the trip.

hope it all works out good. good paintshops seem hard to find. i am in  skipton not far from you. found somebody to do mine .just tilt/slide sun roof to trial fit then ready for stripdown. hopefully all ready for rebuild end of october/november. will need headlining sorting so will contact your
 brother soon. is he in otley also?

Well I brought my car home on Saturday, and its now all green again!

Yes, I am very happy with it.

Quite a lot of work to do yet though to get it 100%.

But yes looks good and can not wait to get started.

Just had to stick some lights on so it feels like i'm making some progress  :?

No they are not new, just been given a good clean.

The tough bit is in under the lenze in the corner, it was full of old leaves!

Trying to keep as much of the original car as possible.  

I am over in Halifax sat, I will keep an eye open for your car, so if you see a black C-max flash you it will be me  :wink:

Well I have not updated my resto for a while, but my web site www.ea337.com
is up to date.

So the story so far.

Rear axle, fuel tank, all fuel system, brake lines, brake bias valve wheels removed.
Fuel tank replaced (due to rust) filler neck replaced, axle re-bushed and painted.
All solid brake lines replaced, flexi lines replaced with S/S braided items.
New dampers and springs replaced.
All welding compleated and re-sealed.

Car rolled out and turned around ready for the work to start on the front end.




So far so good, like the hammer chock, safety first  :wink:

Had tip for cleaning rear lights of putting them in the dish washer. I did, not sure it did much though?!

Well the work continues………………….
Engine in, most wire going to the right plugs, most pipes going in the righ direction.
And then today connected the battery and we have power! For the firt time in 5 years.  

Doesn't it make a project worth while with moments like this  

It keeps you going, I was getting a bit bogged down with the thing!

But now I am actually getting somewhere.
