Silver Campaign update..TOPCOAT!!
After rubbing down othe complete bodyshell the only really bad rust was a strip on the back panel..
We welded in some new steel then gave it a quick skim of filler ….
Once rubbed down and smoothed i sprayed the first few coats of primer and let it go off..
After the paint had gone off for a couple of days i check for any imperfectiions, small dents, rippled panels etc, once this is done,i nibb off the primer withe a 500gritt dry disk then apply the final heavy coats of primer..

Lol,this was the same mate,it had been painted over the top of the original factory paint and whoever did it had`nt prepared it properly,i had to go over every nook and cranny with 40 grit to get all the paint down to bare metal or else it reacted woth the primer coat,it was a real pain i can tell you!And people think this job is easy!!!mack_cab said
