sorry no update recently been wiring in the extraction for the shot blast cabinet and blasting the lower arms and bits and pieces will get pics up soon as possible :wink:

well dont the unit look clean and tidy??  :lol: u needed that female touch! anyway i hope this is gonna be finished soon, i need it finished for when the good weather comes! dont want to rush u or anything  :D

wish it was, no its 5mins away the unit is very long, i have glass front doors and electric door bayed ramp aswell,the pics taken standing on my other ramp and through the door at the end is the other ramp.
and behind me is tyre machines and shot blasting room.feels very homely though :D

well at last some update pics to show you shell ready nearly for all welding to be done, all brake pipes fuel pipes fuel tank and rear axle off and now also the steering column off had the engine gunked in degreaser.

theirs two ramps and space in between them for 3 cars,plus storage upstairs and two tyre machines, plenty for one bloke :lol:  :wink:

hi mate not much to update really put paint stripper remover on engine bay toget all crap off ready for welding, going to ultimate dubs and work is picking up to :lol:

new update sun

up date will happen sun as i'll have a weekend on the golf now ultimate dubs has gone, hopefully have some decent pics for you guys

an update will post pics as soon as, have removed sound deadning fron scuttle panel also removed engine bay paint and started to grind down all old brackets and surface rust,

also started to remove old bushes from lower arms and mounting brackets, stripped down rear axle to bare ready for wire wheel and then going to powder coating with all the other parts ive shot blasted.

got car onto the ramp today also to start removing the old under seal and check for rot all good very pleased.

Nice clean looking shell, but please tell me why you have cut the scuttle out ?? Being from the old skool, is this a new 'trend' ?
