How well do you know your VW Dealer?
Some genuine parts are so much better than repro ones. Rubber exhaust mounts always seem to perish in no time and fail from GSF, ECP and from the local motorfactors. VW ones last for ages!

LOL, its ok no worries. I think they come in for more stick than they deserve. Can't really compare a secondhand Clipper kit from a scrappy with new….

I would say that most of the common parts like filters, plugs and oil etc are pretty good value
I always insist on geniue filters for oil etc.
I agree if you meant the prices for servicing the cars, this is now become crazy at nearly ?60 an hour
