The only thing I got todo with my Golf was one of those Haynes Manuals Tea Mugs of the mk1 - from my little sis bless 'er!
Other than that i got, 2 new superdry hoodies - v.good quality , few beanies, couple of dvds, abit o wedge to fill the wallet with (temporarily) smelly stuff oh and some car care products from www.thepolishingcompany.com - the best polishing / wax / car care products you can use & a few bottles of wine.
However.. the car it's self despite already being reinsured, retaxed for the year and having ordered leather interior, newly trimmed door cards.. i've now had to order two brand new front tyres due to a burst & am gonna have found that it needs a basic service.. so got all that comin as well!
bloody car! she's so expensive all at once!

Snap, not from your sister though, from mine!!!! How funny is that?
Everything else was run of the mill, no surprises. To be honest I'm a little depressed at my Crimbo haul this year. I hate getting things I've asked for. Where's the fun in that? I always try and buy something I know a person wants and something that shows I've put the effort in. This year I got SOCKS!!!! About ten pairs. It's hard to look pleased when you open the third parcel to find even more socks!!! Yes, I know I mentioned them but that doesn't give everybody an excuse to buy them!! I only wanted a couple of pairs, and enough with the 'character' socks too!! Why don't families communicate?
Rant over!

Well I think my favourite present was from a friend of mine called Liz. Earlier in the year, I gave her one of my Cavalier King Charles puppies, so for Christmas, she bought me a day driving a Ferrari round a track! A 355 no less, my favourite model! How cool is that?

Lots of Jack Daniels (I think my friends are trying to tell me something!!!), oh, a pink fluffy dice with diamante, a pink Babe on Board, pink licence disc holder (wonder if I can dye them black like the car… ). A new window for the car (replacement after the other one was smashed by some jerk who broke into the car). A phone call from my family back home in South Africa….

SP got the haynes Golf mug from Rach, and I got the Camper one from Rach's bro and we got some really cool dub salt & pepper pots and money box. Think that was all the dub stuff we got!
SP got a Dremel and the polishing accessories (just so happens that my wheels need polishing )
And we got loads of really cool other stuff.
And the best bit was that we got to spend boxing day with ALL six of our kids and their other halves
Must've been a really good girl in 2006 :cheer:

cheers Autocab
any details on where you got it done? PM if you prefer.
I'm away this weekend (see my folks) but next week will be enquiry time and try to get it sorted - i'm fed up of getting a damp posterier when it rains!
