I have a wish list:

-Your smiling face Phil  :mrgreen:

-Attractive (and available) ladies.

-Closeness to Reading (of course!).

-Some kind of monkey /midget based entertainment.


Not really interested in cars if you can arrange the above tbh

oh yeah, thought the Honey Pot had closed down?  Owner opened Sugar Lounge above Cafe du Sport…. :dontknow:

 

going to put up a new thread about this months meet, if possible I'd like to see as many of you as possible so that everyone is happy with the choice of new location

Was looking for possible places to go, thought about the Bladebone in Chapel Row (between Bradfield and Bucklebury). Stumbled across this looking for some info… thought it might provide a starter…

The Bladebone is quite a nice place, but the car park isn't that large and the food is quite dear IIRC… Don't think they do too much in the way of bar snacks.

If the location suits everyone, there is the Boot at Stanford Dingley, which is about a mile further on. Their car park is bigger, and their bar food is  better too…

I know what you mean... i know quite a few cracking country pubs that would be great... only the car park is tiny...
