i got the bargain pages (loot, admag)  today in birmingham read the following advert:

i called the lady owner to confirm the price and it is ?9050, mileage is 85k, k reg, but the car has power steering 8O , she said she is willing to drop the price to ?9000 cash, i cant stop laughing

Didn't realise the 2nd-hand Golf market was so buoyant.  Therefore I've decided to sell my '83 GTI.

It's by no means in mint condition, but it could certainly be used in an emergency. I bought it a month ago for ?1100 and have since done a cambelt change. As a result I'm now looking for ?8000…anyone interested?
