I always got the impression that people tend to put private plates on their cars to try and hide the age. A private plate can appear to make them ageless - or maybe it's just me …..

I saw a girl driving a MK4 Golf the other day with DUB GIRL plate on, which I thought was a nice touch.


I've got a private plate on mine, it's not to hide the age of the car, it's just cos I love my number plate; it's amasing the people that recognise you by it!
