20/20; yea, remember them!
Castleford eh, no wonder you don't remember it
I lived more Wakefield way in my youth, so it was "round Wakey", or last train back from Leeds more often than not; now they were good nites out, although I did once walk back from Leeds - must have been hammered, wouldn't do it now!
Just thought of another one - Stranglers, Golden Brown; not really in keeping with my last few posts, but I love that one too!

Being an old codger who left school in the early 80`s i had a ball with the Music, going through early Electro like the excellent `Cars` by Gary Numan and of course `Fade to Gray` by Visage as mentioned here before.
There are so many good tracks to list from the early 80`s tracks by The Jam to the late 80`s Adamski its impossible to choose really but i had a blast to all the Acid House then on to the Rave scene at the later part of the 80`s,i still have the Flyers from them now,oh what fun lol

Cerrone- Love in "C" minor
Carly Simon- You're so vain
Sister Sledge-He's the greatest dancer

Sorry, need to add another one I heard on the radio this morning - De-lite, Groove is in the Heart!
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes ……… brilliant, play it all the time in the car. I even have her arm movements down to a fine art. Looks stupid doing it in the car, but hey, I don't care. Will wait till summer with the roof down and do it then  :cheer:

There was a show on VH1 a couple of evenings ago - they played all the number ones of the eighties. Whenever a boring song or adverts came on we switched to another channel which had all the best Stock, Aitken and Waterman hits on. I knew all the lyrics to such classics as:
Glenn Medeiros - Nothings gonna change my love for you (cringe)
Kylie and Jason - especially for you
Foreigner - I want to know what love is
Feargal Sharkey - a good heart
Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up
ops: ops: ops:
Jason Donovan - too many broken hearts
Couldn't remeber half the words to the following
New Edition - Candy Girl
Mel + Kim - respectable
They don't make music like they used to - but I think there may be several very good reasons for that. If fact see all of the above.
