Does anyone remember the 'Street Sounds' Electro albums? There were a number of albums all with 12" mixes of top tracks.

Following on…..

Run DMC
Public Enemy
NWA
Salt n Pepa
MARRS (as said)
Eric B & Rakim

etc… late 80's rap rocks!

Do I remember? I've got some of those tucked away in my spare bedroom. How I'd love to copy those to CD, they were the best!

far to many to list, but stashed in the 10 disk are a collection of 70's, 80's, 90's and 00 music including Genesis, Scissor sisters, Tenacious D, Jamiroquai, The Darkness…

However, i have 'School Reunion - the 80's' in there, including such classics as:

Queen - I want to break free
Duran Duran - the reflex
Kajagoogoo - too shy
Doctor and the medics - spirit in the sky
Go west - we close our eyes
Kenny Loggins - Footloose

and it goes on - Bros, Kylie, Wham, Erasure, James Brown, Bananarama, Human League…

The wife bought it for me 'cos 'it went with the car…'

But I vaguely recall:

Funkytown - Lipps, Inc
Keep on Loving You - REO Speedwagon
Centerfold - J. Geils Band
Jack & Diane - John Couger
Addicted to Love - Robert Palmer
Good Things - Fine Young Cannibals

It's great, isn't it. I'm half way through series 2 of Miami Vice and I remember each episode as if it was just last week. The scary thing is that it's been 22 years since the first series  8O

I feel old

Wham; no thanks.  More of a late 80's, early 90's kind of gal myself.  Have to say, loved the house stuff though!  Have you played it back though?  When I first got my Golf, I dug out a few old tapes (had a crap radio when I first got it), oooh, it was awful, suppose it's a bit like you had to be there at the time!!!!
