Faces 2 Cars

trev56 - been to Lemans in 98, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 (classic) and 2005. Missed out this year due to lack of interest - so went to Assen in Holland to watch MotoGP instead!

It's a great week in leman (although it gets harder each time to justify  the trip to the missus). Try explaining that the race is saturday and sunday and that you are leaving Tuesday and returning monday!!

That picture was taken on Sunday night, at a bar in Arnarge. it was about 9 at night and it was about 32 degrees… i'd gone by motorbike, so i was quietly melting in my jeans!!!

BTW - my hair is now it's normal dark brown with distinguished silver streaks…

Thats coincidence. I've stayed with an old couple who live in arnage since the start in 1999 (and the fact i've been 8 times in my seventeen years ain't  bad). justifying taking a week off college and going on a student budget is pretty hard but i've managed. Nice golf mate :clap:. Hopefully i'll be cruising in mk1 and stand out from all the porsches next year

Yeh the paint used was a Porsche "Green" variant - not very specific i know but i don't have any indepth details about the respray as i did not do it.

Got the car booked in for a brand new bentley leather interior:
- Seats reupholstered in black leather (fronts & rear bench)
- New Door Cards with Sound Proofing in a cream white leather with new fittings and handles etc
- Brand new carpet, fitted
- Dashboard / clocks / glove compartment e.t.c all getting a new lick of paint and reupholstered


woooo! can't wait - Now who can tell me that's not a good use of a student loan!
