By the way, got the hub fixed today and now there is ANOTHER noise coming from the engine …… pass the bottle QUICK

Good news about the hub though… :cheer:… Re-sprayed my bonnet yesterday looks a bit rough but it will stop the rust getting in for now, I will re-spray all of it probs easter….unless it irritates me enough in the next few weeks in which case I will do it sooner… :wink:

I think us dub girls should meet somewhere with our cars then hit the nearest town…. :cheer:

New Starter motor on order for littlerolf so hopefully he will want to play again next week!!!
Am having rage at the minute as Im still driving the camper to work and its not the fastest when pulling out of junctions (a tractor is probably faster) but some stupid women over took me on a blind bit of road with drive ways onto it! and then just happended to turn into the car park where I work am resisting the urge to go round the building and hunt her down and teach how to over take in safeplaces just before I accidently revese my camper into the side of her car!! opps!

By the time I get there, we would need several bottles lol.  Really chuffed about the hub being fixed - its the other noises now ….. gonna invest in a manual now (and Marigolds to save the nails ha ha).  What colour did you respray the bonnet?

Shame sunshine, I know how you feel.  What you should do is park your camper in such a way that she cannot get past you and put your mobile number on her window and that way, when she phones you, unless she apologises for giving women like us a bad name on the road, you refuse to  move the camper.  Tell her, you are organised for the weekend, you have a camper van after all and can stay there for as long as you like……  :twisted:

Good plan was thinking along the lines of dropping eggs out of the top floor window onto her car but like you idea better

Cant wait to get littlerolf back am missing him!!   :cry: might wash him later. I hope its not raining next week so I can have the roof down.

I'd love to try and sort my car out myself but a) my attention span is sooo short   b) I don't have a garage space oh and c) I just don't have a clue!!

Was just thinking about selling my baby next summer as I need to start saving for a deposit  :roll: but everyone else having the same amount of probs has kinda (weirdly!) made me think again as I really don't want to sell after all these years!  :cheer:

Thank you Logie - yep "Christine" is the love of my life.  I am thinking about returning back to South Africa sometime next year —- the thought of selling this car is giving me sleepless nights already!!!!!     I will probably act like the Cats Protection League and do a house / garage / owner inspection before I sell her.  I shall then expect weekly emails and photo's on her progress  :mrgreen:

I know - sad isn't it   .  I dont want to go, but if I can't find a new contract,  I shall have to return to the sunny skies of SA.  Ho hum…  :cry:   But, on the plus side, you could always come with me and we can buy a MK1 cabby over there and drive with the roof down ALL the time      :dance:
