Classic Motor Show 2006 - HELPERS NEEDED!

Ok chaps, I need some helpers please!!

Classic Motor Show is from Friday 27th October - Sunday 29th at NEC Birmingham and we need people on the club stand all three days.

You will get in return for your help free entry and parking at the NEC and the chance to look around a real top event!

Please post here if you can help and state on which day. Numbers are limited so will be on a first come, first served basis. Please state if you need 1 or 2 passes (for partner etc!)

I'll do Friday and Sunday for definate if you want.

If you are struggling for volunteers on Saturday I'll do that as well  but would prefer a day away from the NEC if I am doing the other two days.

Two passes for each day will be required please.

It's a probably for me but cant commit just yet. Should know within the next week so i'll let you know.

Put me down for 1 day, Saturday or Sunday - I'll fill whatever gap you have. I assume you'd have more than 1 person per day, so we can have breaks to go off and look at the other cars?

PS: If you don't think the classic motor show is for you, give it a bash and try something once - we were all surprised last year how good it really was!

I have one pass left for saturday now and two for Saturday so if you're coming, that's the choices!

I've 3 passes now for Saturday but none left for Sunday.

We are in HALL4 and on STAND 4C58 next to the 'Historic VW Club'

Just to echo Andy's comments, if you've never been to the classic car show it really is a great day out with loads of classics from the mundane to the truly exotic.

Also it is the place to check out any tool purchases first hand before deciding, often suppliers give big discounts on the day too, so if you are looking for that new welder \ autodarkening helmet \ compressor \ spraygun etc. it is the place to see the stuff first hand.

Also some excellent restoration demo's from some of the main places running restoration courses in the UK - panel beating / welding / engine rebuilds.

Last year there was plenty of time to check out the show away from the club stand too, and you don't have to be an expert to help out on the stand, (if I can do it anyone can!).

So go-on volunteer, you won't regret it
