CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW 2006 - WE'RE IN!!

Whats happening regarding volunteers for the stand. I'll do it seeing as my cars on the stand, but need to know for definate so I can book some accomodation for the weekend.

Really sorry for the delay in confirming Dave, all… Work has just gone so mental I manage to pop on here quick and that's about it - think I'll be moving my bed by my desk shortly! 8O

OK, here's final line up for the show;

1. Rajans P-Reg red series 1 Gti
2. DaveM's 1982, series 2 GTI owned from new
3. Crazyquiffs S-Reg series 1 1.5 resto project.

Many thanks to all that offered their cars and sorry to those that haven't got on.

However! The theme of the show is 'Designs of the Decades' and the MK1 Golf has been voted as an important car of the 80's. Therefore, there will be a stage in one of the halls with Mike Brewer and some other chap off the TV interviewing owners of various cars and MK1 Golfs are wanted!

Would entail driving your car around the arena, up on to the stage and having a quick chat over the PA with Mike Berwer about your car and why you think it is such an iconic car.

PM me if you are interested in doing this. I don't know at this stage if they are after mint cars only or all conditions? Will keep you posted.

Finally, we need helpers to man the stand over the three days. Please respond on separate post HERE

Need to know like yesterday if anyone wants their car featured on the stage. Let me know ASAP please!!!!

OK looks like I'll be up there on Friday  8) , so be around to help out for at least a few hours.

Looking forward to it as it was an excellent show last year. If anyone is coming up from SE London and needs a lift early on the Friday morning then let me know as it may save on the petrol  :wink: .
