sooo, changing the plugs made a difference then??! i cant believe u have to use choke at traffic lights! 8O

i think running choke on a hot engine alters its mixture and it warns against it in the manual :wink:

on some of my bikes in the past doing that blacked up plugs for fun!

re carbourate it, and pour in some redx!! :mrgreen:

Ignition problems, if left for a long time, will cause problems. Basically, with the poor spark, you leave unburnt fuel in a similar situation to running rich. This 'washes' away oil on the side of the cylinders and also contaminates it. Once this has occurred, you will get higher bore wear than you should.

If your spark plugs were so bad, what about the other service items? Do you know accurately when the oil was last changed (date and mileage???)
