Not really a resto but some work done
Engine bay with a couple of parts stripped
Engine a gbox out
Cleaned gbox
Started to prime bay
The new lump 2l 16v with 45 dels ported head etc etc…
now just gotta finish the prep and then decide on a colour

not heard a 2l runnin carbs but i bet it sounds sweet.
i dunno what to do with the exterior i like the idea of removin the bumpers and smoothing, even might go down the rat look way i like the idea of hammerin people in their shiny new cars.
any ideas would be appreciated here it is as i got it…..

Can get em from Dubmeister, but dont you think that would look so much better with shiny red paintwork rather than matt? :dontknow:

proper pimpin in candy red, rat it and you will drive it alot harder as you dont have to worry about it!me said

change of plans
changed the front panel as it was too rusty
90% through finishing this wing as i had to fabricate some parts made up the lip where the front panel butts up against
rust again on the other side but the top lip this time
new wheels just need to get some weitecs too

rust cut out, cleaned and new tin welded in then sprayed over with zinc paint

Out of curiosity, how did you set the rear camber up? It looks quite negative to me - more than standard anyway…

i used wedge guide washers from work on the two bottom bolts ot the stub axel. no good for your bearings but it looks kool
