Newbie here

A quick update, fitted new rear suspension.
Getting new in was easy, getting old out now that was a different story
The bolt which holds the strut to the frame had siezed on both sides


Thought it would be easy to remove, in the end had to cut them out as when i tried to turn the bolt the rubber was turning and then flexing back on the strut, very annoying :evil:
When i fitted new one i made sure i greased the bolt to hopefully make it easier in the future

My friend was down a couple of weeks back in his mk1 1500cc, 39,000 original miles, inherited off his grandfather, wil try and get him to join site.
i have asked him to sell, but he is having non of it
