Regional co-ordinators/managers PROMOTION!!

Hi chaps! Right, moving things along a bit we'd like to promote someone to the role of 'Regional Manager' for each of the current (and subsequently formed) areas.

This can be the current Regional Co-ordinators (which would be straight forward) but entails extra responsibilities so I don't want to assume you chaps want to do it!

New role includes;

1. Being in charge of your regional meets and having overall responsibility for everyones safety and the smooth running of the meet, upkeeping the Clubs ethics and reputation.

Don't panic - you won't be held personally liable for incident! (We're currently looking into liability insurance for the club and regional meets) but someone who the 'buck' stops with!

2. Assistance with coordinating club attendance at National Meets which take part in your area, including the selling of club merchandise at shows where this is permitted. With best will in the world I wont have time to do them all so this would be a huge help in promoting the club!

3. You can have your own Regional Area Club Banner (see separate post for details) specific to your area to take to National/Regional meets/shows

As I mentioned, perhaps the current coordinators can take on this role but don't feel obliged to. I'd like to think each area can agree this amongst themselves and appoint someone - the coordinators for the web site regional pages can be a separate role if you wish.

I hope this is a chance for each area to really establish their presense now. Please let me know who is appointed by PM/E-mail and contact me if you have any questions/queries

Cheers
Andy

James - Drew will have to sort you out a page. The other thing you can do once you have an official region is design your own club region banner.

As long as I get to see proof of it for approval ( ) then the club will pay 50% of the cost - as long as it's not made of gold

Good luck
Cheers

Adding a "Wales" region (technically, home nation) to the left hand side bar and creating its regional page, shouldn't be too difficult a task. Let me know when you want one. Are we thinking we'd have "Wales", or splitting it into South, Mid, North Wales? There's no real pattern of how the regions are defined, some are counties and some are 'regions' or 'zones' (eg NW, SW).

Hello,

Down here in Cornwall now we have had three or four meets with five cars the maximum yet, and a clear mix of tintops and cabby's.

I would like to nominate cabriaulait for regional host of the Cornwall area, he has sorted out all the meets and even has us all back to his place for the odd bar b que, and we always end up working on somebody's car (erm  mine mostly…)

But he does a great job of "hosting" this area's meets…..

Cheers Peg1
