Regional co-ordinators... your attention please!

Folks,

In order to keep the website relevant for regional folks, I'm planning to allow a section of the site that can be personalised by each region.

This way regional representatives can edit a page which shows whats happening in that region, rather than having a whole bunch of forum topics. There would be a 'Regional' section on the front page of the site.

Could I have some volunteers from each region who would like to do this? Knowledge of html a bonus, but not essential. Let me know which region you represent and you can have your own page on the site.

I would like to do this for Norfolk & Suffolk but have no idea of HTML but i'm sure willing to try

I have no idea of HMLT. I'll Put Daisys name forward for SWM CHAMPIONS Host ( i know he 'll want to!). Ill put mine forward as back up tho! :wink:

hello , i will volunteer for notts/ derbyshire area . not very good on computer but will  have a try.

Got the following regions so far, any body else out there?

Scotland
North West
Derbyshire
Norfolk / Suffolk
Berkshire
South West
Kent / Sussex (just me )

I know there are meets like 'e1k' @ Ace cafe organised by 'Mr V' , but maybe nice to have something club specific?

I can't spare any more time to do an area but anyone interested in a kind of East Midlands area?

Notts/Derby is closest for me but I'm down near Peterborough (Stamford) so not hugely local

It's not just you in the SE drew, I'm in kent too! and there's several others from Essex, sussex and the like not too far away!

We really should organise a SE meet. I think something was done once, but I was unable to attend.
